Adam Tensta’s people just shot an email over with some of tracks from his album Its a Tensta Thing, which will hopefully see the light of day in the United States soon. This is an MP3 Dump of one of the best album of this year (and last year) so download the tracks and hear for yourself.
go to “1992″ tonight (Monday). I believe the only music played is the hip hop variety that was made in and before 1992. While there are definite mid 90s bangers that may get slept on, there are definite good times to be had.
But an examination of her swift rise and record as mayor of Wasilla and then governor finds that her visceral style and penchant for attacking critics she sometimes calls local opponents haters contrasts with her carefully crafted public image.
Out of all the things that are so wrong with this Vice Presidential nominees Sarah Palin (she doesn’t believe that dinosaurs exist and she prays for oil pipelines ) I think the fact that a mayor of Alaska using the term out of the Black vernacular is quite possibly one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time.
I could see Obama calling everyone from the smear machines to the dude on the block a “hater,” but Palin? Looks like she’s been hanging around her 17 year old daughter and her redneck boyfriend too much.
So I must dedicated Manio’s video “Hi Hater” to our future Vice President. Can you almost hear her singing this in the mirror in that Fargo accent?
And yes, as much as I joke, we have to be serious here: this lady is quite possibly the most dangerous person to ever get into the vicinity of the White House. Donate or volunteer for Obama today to ensure that this is NOT a possibility.
Another special edition Jazz x Hip-Hop instrumental from Terrace Martin. This week’s selection is produced by the Chocolate Boy Wonder. Hit the jump for some words from Terrace.
Pete Rock has been one of my all time favorite producers in the world one of the major influences in my life. I am in the middle of doing a jazz record right now with Hip-Hop producers. Ive worked with Hi-Tek, DJ Quik, and a lot of other fellow producers. I got this record from Pete Rock through Power 106 FM radio personality Fuzzy Fantabulous (from Big Boys Neighborhood Show). Fuzzy is the executive producer for this album and he got at Pete Rock about the situation and Pete ended up sending him 3 records. The other 2 Pete Rock songs you will have to hear on the album but Im giving you this one for free. I just want to feed the Earth good music and I hope that everybody likes it and enjoys it.
…now I’m in the loop like Miss Info, get it/that’s a blog I like/should I go off the top? Nah Right…
I saw this floating around on Friday but I slept on it. Then yesterday, somebody pointed out that line to me, but I was moving in slow motion because it was Saturday and so I forgot to post.
